How do animals decide when to help others? In Fall 2009, I started my Ph.D. with the Wilkinson lab hoping to revisit the controversial topic of reciprocity in vampire bats. I'm currently learning about social evolution, cooperation, and cognition. In the past, I've studied spatial memory in fruit and flower bats, and the function of social calls in vampire bats.
